Welcome to the Western Wisconsin SQL Server User Group!!

The Western Wisconsin SQL Server user group is a community of professionals and students in the broad field of Microsoft SQL Server.  

We are an official chapter of the Professional Association for SQL Server.  This is a world-wide SQL Server Users Group.  PASS holds a conference each year, and also organizes the global SQL Saturday conference concept.

Maximizing on Emotional Intelligence

Nicole Schultz, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Communication and Journalism University Wisconsin - Eau Claire

The overarching goal of this seminar is to empower participants to maximize the emotional intelligence potential for individuals personally and professionally to enhance the success of the organization as a whole. Successfully navigating a diverse workforce and clientele optimally is dependent upon organizational members’ abilities to, and commitment to, honing emotional intelligence in the workplace. This workshop is intended to provide participants with an in-depth look at recognizing social awareness, relationship management, personal competence, self- awareness, self-management, and social competence. Outcomes of this training are geared toward developing deeper insights into oneself and coworkers by focusing directly on the concept of emotional intelligence with an illustrated emphasis on diversity of personalities and generational cohorts in the workplace to increase productivity and efficiency.

About Nicole:
Nicole Schultz, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. She earned a B.A. from Winona State University in 2002, an M.A. from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2004, and a Ph.D. in Communication Studies and Women's Studies Graduate Certificate from Bowling Green State University in 2007. Dr. Schultz teaches primarily in the Organizational Communication Emphasis in the Department of Communication and Journalism at UW-Eau Claire and serves as a Board Member for Fierce Freedom and Positive Avenues, LSS in the Eau Claire area. She is dedicated to developing mutually synergistic collaborative opportunities connecting University and for-profit resources with not- for-profit organizational members to serve a variety of stakeholders.
