Join us in October as Jim Dorame presents techniques on how to speed up SQL!

Featured Presentation:

HELP! My SQL is slow and it won't speed up!

Jim Dorame, Director of Data & Reporting Questar Assessment

Is your T-SQL slower than molasses in January - in Minnesota? Do you have nightmares that revolve around long running processes? Have you ever wondered if there is some sort of magic that can make your query run faster? Well wonder no longer! Together we will explore elements that slow SQL down. You will learn about SET options that can help you see what the engine is doing, explore execution plans, and time allowing, touch on (shudder) indexes.

About Jim:
Jim Dorame has been working with SQL Server for over 20 years. Over those years he has learned a great deal from the SQL community. He has also given back to the community in the hopes that he may help someone in their career. He is always looking for something to learn and luckily Microsoft keeps adding to SQL Server.
