Additional Meeting Information

SQL Server 2016 brought with it a major change to the Microsoft data visualization landscape. The stalwart Reporting Services tool received a complete overhaul to make it a modern paginated reporting tool. A tool dedicated to the creation of reports for mobile devices joined the Reporting Services brand. Dashboarding capability was added to the Reporting Services web portal.

This session will take you through what’s changed and what’s new with demos of each environment. As we examine each data visualization tool, we will discuss its strengths, weaknesses, and ways in which it can best be utilized. Participants will leave with a knowledge of the range of tools available in SQL Server 2016 and a solid understanding of the ways to leverage each tool for effective data visualization.

NEW this meeting, Submit your data visualization questions and concerns in advance and they will be incorporated into the evenings presentation.

Email WestWiscPASS by 11.10.2016 any SSRS question you have and Brian will incorporate them into his presentation!
